Design Notes

We added a sequence for a 6xHis-Tag at the end of the POI for purification and verification of expression. This might influence the activity of the peptide


Source

Sushi S1 peptide can be originally found in horseshoe crab - a 500 millions year old marine arthropode. The antimicrobial effect of the peptide was described by Ding et al. in 2007 [1]
